Bee Tree Elementary School was constructed for the Berkeley County School District to serve one of the area’s fastest-growing communities. Delivered using the Construction Manager at-Risk delivery method, the 163,700-square-foot, two-story school provides a modern learning environment for students from Pre-K through fifth grade.

The new campus includes general classrooms, dedicated spaces for art, music, and chorus, a media center, gymnasium, full-service kitchen and cafeteria, and a central courtyard that provides space for outdoor learning and student activities. The project also included complete site development, utility infrastructure, parking, sidewalks, storm drainage systems, and off-site roadway improvements to support the new campus and provide safe, efficient access for students, staff, and visitors. Significant ground improvements, including rigid inclusions and structural fill, were completed to overcome challenging soil conditions.
