HGR AWARDED HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW HAMPTON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL PROJECT
In January 2023, H.G. Reynolds Company was selected by Hampton County School District to serve as the CM at-Risk General Contractor for the new Hampton County High School. This new consolidated High School will combine Wade Hampton High School and Estill High School into one comprehensive campus with a career and technology center.
The existing Estill High School campus in Estill will be renovated to become a K-8 educational facility. Both projects will begin concurrently.
H.G. Reynolds is excited to partner with LS3P, Dr. Ronald Wilcox, and the entire HCSD team to deliver this long-awaited and highly anticipated project to the county.
In 2012, H.G. Reynolds Company partnered with Hampton County School District to renovate the existing North District Middle School. The project started in January 2012 and was completed on time in September 2013. The total cost of this project was approximately $12.5 million. We're honored to have the opportunity to partner with Hampton County School District again and look forward to building on our previous project success.

LAKESIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL DEDICATION CEREMONY
On Thursday, November 10, 2022, Lexington County School District One held a dedication ceremony for the newly constructed Lakeside Middle School. The school officially welcomed students in the fall of 2022, serving approximately 620 students.

In early 2022, H.G. Reynolds Company was awarded the $33.5 million Construction Management at Risk contract for the 55,000 square-foot Performing Arts Center for Richland County School District Two in Columbia, SC. This site will be anchored by a 1,174-seat auditorium and is slated to be completed in February 2024.
To successfully deliver this project, our team worked closely with Richland County School District Two and Architect McMillan Pazdan Smith to create a construction plan to help mitigate community disruption during construction.
During the pre-construction phase, our team orchestrated a strategy for early material release, allowing us to release materials and equipment from vendors on an accelerated schedule and avoid long lead times and price increases due to inflation and a volatile market. In addition, H.G. Reynolds assisted the design team and school district by exploring alternate materials and methods that resulted in cost savings on the front end of the project.
